Why we started
Lap time lives
in the braking zone
Sim Racings started in 2024 for an unglamorous reason: the gap between a rig that feels like a toy and one that actually teaches you something is narrow, expensive, and badly explained.
Most people buying their first serious setup are sold on torque figures. Torque matters — but it isn’t where the time is. The time is in whether you can press the brake to the same pressure, corner after corner, lap after lap. A potentiometer pedal measures how far your foot travelled. A load cell measures how hard you pushed. Only one of those is what your brain does in a real car.
So we built the range around that idea. Direct drive so nothing filters the feedback. Load-cell braking so your inputs are repeatable. An aluminium chassis stiff enough that what you feel is the track, not the rig flexing under you.
Everything we list, we’ve mounted, wired, and driven. If a product doesn’t earn its place on our own rig, it doesn’t go in the catalogue.

What we hold to
Three commitments that shape what we stock, how we describe it, and what we refuse to do.
A small range
Seven or eight products, not seven hundred. A narrow catalogue means we can actually test what we sell, answer a compatibility question without guessing, and hold stock instead of drop-shipping a box we’ve never opened.
Specs you can check
Torque in newton-metres. Brake force in kilograms. Encoder resolution in bits. Every number on this site is one you can verify against the hardware — not marketing language borrowed from a supplier’s catalogue.
The honest answer
If a 21 Nm base is more than your desk can take, we’ll say so. If the cheaper pedals will get you 95% of the way, we’ll tell you that too. We would rather lose the upsell than process the return.
Sector 09 · The procedure
How a product
gets listed
Nothing reaches the catalogue on a spec sheet alone. Four gates, and most candidates don’t clear them.
Specify
We define what the part has to do — torque, force range, stiffness, mounting standard — before we look at who makes it.
Sample
Units come in from candidate manufacturers. We mount them, wire them, and check that the published figures survive contact with a multimeter.
Drive
Real hours in iRacing, ACC, and Assetto Corsa. Feedback fidelity, pedal repeatability, flex under load, and whether it’s still bolted straight after a month.
List
Only then does it get a page — with the specs we measured, photographed as it actually ships, and backed by our two-year warranty.
Sector 10 · The black flag
What we
won’t do
Plenty of sim-racing stores do these things. We think they cost you money and cost us trust, so we don’t.
Invent reviews
We don’t publish testimonials from customers who don’t exist. When we have verified reviews, we’ll show them and tell you where they came from. Until then, this space stays empty.
Copy supplier descriptions
Keyword-stuffed listings pasted from a wholesaler tell you nothing and rank badly. Every product description here was written by someone who used the thing.
Hide the freight cost
Cockpits and rigs ship curbside by freight, and returning one is expensive. We say that before you buy, not in the small print after you’ve changed your mind.
Sell you the top of the range
21 Nm is glorious and most people don’t need it. Tell us your desk, your sim, and your budget, and we’ll point you at the right base — even when it’s the cheaper one.

Where we work
Our workshop and dispatch facility in Elgin, Illinois. Every order leaves from here.
Elgin, Illinois
Orders placed before 2:00pm CT on a business day are packed and dispatched within 48 hours. Freight items are staged and collected from the same building. Visits are welcome by appointment — call or email ahead and we’ll set a time.
